Pure Earth Pottery
Robyn Solomon was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. She grew up surrounded by artwork, as her parents owned and curated the Norman Rockwell Museum in historic Philadelphia. Robyn dabbled in clay at a young age, but didn’t truly pursue her art until moving to Winter Springs, Florida, in the year 2000.
There’s no doubt that Robyn is a clay junkie! Her happiest places are at home in her studio or at work at the City of Orlando Pottery Studio. Robyn is a self-taught potter who is beyond grateful for the opportunity to work in and around clay, and to work with the wonderful artists at the City of Orlando Pottery Studio.
Robyn loves the natural and organic movement of clay, and tries to allow the clay to move the way it wants to as much as possible. She enjoys mixing mediums and creating unique art pieces by incorporating a range of textiles into her pottery.
