Xiubo Pearce was born in 1982 in China. In 2006, she was accepted into the Luxun Academy of Fine Arts University in China. After Pearce graduated from university, she became a high school art teacher. In 2012, she came to the United States and the next year enrolled at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) in the art education undergraduate program. She graduated from IUP in December 2017. In 2018, she moved to Florida and works as teacher assistant at Lake County School District.
