Trish Veloso is the sole artist under Veljoy Crafts and is a ceramic artist and teacher based out of Tampa, Florida. Trish focuses her work on wheel-thrown functional pieces that allow you enjoy their feel and colors while using them in the everyday. She enjoys bringing fun and whimsy to a variety of functional pieces. Trish’s work is heavily influenced from the textures and colors of the outdoors which is where she loves to spend her time when not in the studio. While Trish has been playing with clay for over 20 years, she has spent much of the last 10 assisting others in experiencing the joy that can be found while working with clay. She enjoys helping others to find the peace that can be found while throwing or the pleasure in having their visions come to life. Trish’s work can be seen on Instagram and Facebook under Veljoy Crafts. Trish is currently teaching out of the Firehouse Cultural Center in Ruskin.
