Hey! My name is Samantha Perez (aka sam.sesh.studio). I am a Cuban American artist and ceramist based in Orlando. My work is heavily influenced by folk art and making functional pieces beautiful. 
 
While studying biotechnology at the University of Florida (UCF), I became inspired by biology and the natural world, so it's not unusual to see a few creepy crawlies in my work. My pieces are hand-built as well as wheel thrown, and include elaborate hand painted original designs. Each one is microwave, dishwasher, and food safe.
