ecliptic (noun) ● /ə’kliptik/ ● in astronomy, the great circle that traces the path of the sun through the sky over the course of a year.
We are three hobby potters originally from Central Florida, currently in different stages of relocating to the Pacific Northwest. At the core of our business is movement: our shop name recalls simultaneously the cyclical path of the traveling sun, the rotation of the wheel head, and our own geographical transition from East Coast to West Coast. Our ceramics are primarily porcelain and stoneware, and our focus is on creating usable pieces that are food-safe and ready to be integrated into daily living. We also take pride in our unique, decorative raku pieces. Find Ecliptic Clayworks on Instagram: @eclipticclayworks |
