Gabriel is a Florida native practicing the fine art of pottery for 19 years. He maintains a home pottery studio in DeLand, as well as a wood shop and vegetable garden. He holds a degree in fine art from the University of Central Florida (UCF) and continued practicing pottery for seven years at Crealdé School of Art. He focuses on wheel-thrown functional pottery using porcelain and stoneware clays. Another integral part of his work is glaze research and formulation. Every firing has many glazes tests in combination with his finished works. He has exhibited his work at over 100 juried art festivals in Florida.
