My name is Ellen Borowicz; I am a clay hand builder. I learned hand building through classes at Crealdé School of Art and workshops with Doug Bringle, Vince Sansone, Helaine Schneider, and other ceramic artists. My pieces have been shown at 1st Thursdays at the Orlando Museum of Art, Crealdé student exhibitions, and Winter Garden’s SOBO Art Gallery.
I have been a clay hobbyist for 20 years. My focus in clay is on uniqueness, detail, color, and being well finished. My life career has been as an oncology RN. Working with clay and seeing my concepts as finished pieces has been both challenging and rewarding. |
