For Fun and Pottery
Candyce Moreland is lives in Oviedo, Florida, and is relatively new to pottery. After raising two autistic sons, she began looking for a creative outlet. First stop was designing and making metal clay jewelry, but a few years ago she turned to pottery. She began throwing on a wheel and recently has incorporated hand building into her line.
She laughingly calls herself an ADD potter, as she finds it difficult to create any piece more than one time. Because of that her work features a number seemingly different techniques and products. Included in her line are bowls, mugs, and plates, but she also enjoys sculpting and hand building figurines like gnomes and wizards and decorative seasonal items, such as pumpkins and comical turkeys.
