Nikki Navaille is an artist from Orlando, Florida, working primarily in clay and dabbling in drawing and painting. Nikki attended the University of Central Florida (UCF) and earned a bachelor of fine arts in studio art, specializing in ceramics, and a bachelor of arts in art history. After graduating from UCF, she spent the summer in Florence and Rome, Italy, on an art history study abroad focusing on Italian Renaissance and Baroque art and architecture.
Nikki has worked as a teaching assistant for The Jeremiah Project, a non-profit bringing ceramics and arts education to underserved kids in Orlando; as an assistant to Barbara Sorensen, nationally recognized Orlando sculptor; and as a studio and lab assistant in the ceramics department at the University of Central Florida under nationally recognized wood firer Hadi Abbas; and at Axner Pottery Supply (Laguna Clay Company) in Oviedo. In the summer of 2021, Nikki joined the City of Orlando Pottery Studio (where she was formerly a studio member) as a staff member and instructor.
