MELANIE MICALE
Chameleon Clay Works
|
I chose Chameleon Clay Works for the name of my business, as I never like to be pigeon-holed and enjoy being more fluid in my art.
Much of my work reflects my love for animals, with my style being a bit folk art with a dash of quirkiness thrown in. I also create offbeat sculptures that often are inspired by the turn of a phrase or some tongue-in-cheek humor. I participate in a number of shows on the West Coast, and am in a few galleries in North Carolina and Bradenton, Florida. When I am not creating art, I am teaching fourth grade in Clearwater—with students who are a wealth of inspiration and ideas. |
