Belinda Glennon teaches clay classes for adults and children at Crealdé School of Art, at their Winter Park and Winter Garden campuses. Her work is currently on exhibit in Winter Garden City Hall. She has exhibited in Florida Galleries and at art festivals in the southeast for more than a decade and been the recipient of many awards.
“The spidery veins of a leafy green or the rugged scars from a fallen tree—like fossils, the permanence of stoneware gives a lasting impression to ephemeral objects and fleeting moments. It is a love of nature that led me to clay and continues to influence the form, function and decoration of my stoneware pottery,” says Belinda. “After a decade of creating hand built and wheel thrown pottery I still love the challenge of taking a soft lump of clay and creating art of permanence and beauty. Seeing it used with purpose completes the gesture." Follow Belinda on Instagram: @littleclaybird |
