My mission is to use the arts to engage friends and strangers alike in sharing our needs and hopes, our trauma and healing, celebrating our differences and similarities. It is through these face-to-face interactions that we are able to connect with one another, building identity and community. The work I am producing under this mission is part of my Making Conversations project. And I have over the past year rediscovered my love for drawing and have explored a new medium with clay. I hold a BA in Studio Art from Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Lynchburg, VA. I am a life-long student of all things. My spirit plant is the fern.
